 About the Team...

Monica Glenn has been with our restoration team since 1998 and is now co-owner and director of our painting restoration & paper preservation departments.  She has an Associate of Fine Art degree from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut with a major in graphic design and advertising focusing on the fusion of art and technology where she graduated in 1974.  She went on to attend the University of Connecticut with a major in painting and a minor in art history. Monica graduated UCONN in 1978 with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree.

Jason Cochrane joined our team in 2007 and is now co-owner and director of our framing and sculpture restoration departments.  He graduated from the Atlanta College of Art (now known as Savannah College of Art and Design or SCAD) in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Art degree where his major was sculpture and his minor was printmaking.

John Crawford is our latest and greatest addition.  He joined us in 2000.  John has a Bachelor of Fine Art degree with a major in graphic design and a minor in photography.  John works in both our restoration and custom framing departments.

Prior to joining the team at the Avery Gallery as an art conservator, Walker Davis worked for the Georgia Public Library System as a library assistant with an emphasis in programming for adults and children. Though he loved dressing up as the Man with the Yellow Hat and reading the adventures of Curious George, he was thrilled to have the opportunity to use his artistic abilities and work here with the gallery. Walker received his Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from Georgia Southern's Armstrong Campus in Savannah, Georgia. While studying at Armstrong, Walker graduated Magna Cum Laude, was a member of Phi Kappa Phi for Outstanding Academic Achievement, and received the Best All Around in Art History Award in his department. Walker's paintings explore themes of Pop Art, but his subject matter is juxtaposed with elements of humor, gender roles, horror, and rock n roll. Walker sells his paintings on Etsy as well as at Kaboodle Home located in East Atlanta Village. In addition to creating visual art, Walker is also heavily involved in the performing arts and has performed on many stages in musical theatre over the past twenty years.
